Jonathan Pace has spent 10 years performing, recording, and teaching drums in Atlanta, GA. In 2017 he received his B.M. in Jazz Performance from Kennesaw State University. In 2018 he performed over 130 concerts around the USA and Canada as the drummer for the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra. Some notable performances included sold out concerts with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra at Kleinhan’s Music Hall in Buffalo, NY, two sold out concerts at Yoshi’s in Oakland, CA, and performances at Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego, CA, at the 1940’s Ball in Boulder, CO, and at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, MO. In Atlanta he maintains a busy freelance schedule and is currently performing with Zangaro, the Atlanta Party Band, FunkCake, the Brooks Twins, and various other groups.
In addition to playing a wide variety of genres on drum set, Pace is a skilled percussionist. As a freelance percussionist he has performed with Patriot Brass at Imagine Festival, alongside Japanese Koto player Masayo Ishigure at JapanFest, with the Atlanta Young Singers of Callanwolde, and has appeared on TV playing drums in CW’s 2017 reboot of “Dynasty”.
Jonathan has performed at many of the most iconic venues in Atlanta including the Masquerade, Hard Rock Cafe, Buckhead Theatre, Infinite Energy Center, Wild Bill’s, Clermont Lounge, Eddie’s Attic, and Atlanta Motor Speedway, and has performed private concerts for Governor Nathan Deal at the Governor’s Mansion, for Robert Downey Jr. at Pinewood Studios, and for Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter at Georgia Southwestern State University.
